Buddying

In Year 6, each child is 'allocated' a Reception child as their buddy. The Year 6's job is to guide the reception children through their first year, to be a helping hand and to give them confidence in coping with the demands of school life. They meet weekly, and will often do a joint activity together- reading, art, and such like. Our Yr 6's love this and it fast becomes a favourite part of their week.
