For English we are learning all about non-chronological reports. 

First we will learn a text about volcanoes using a text map, orally learning the text and internalising its features. 

Then we will learn all about the structure and language features of a non-chronological report looking at the written version. 

Next we will imitate the text and write a shared text about earthquakes. 

Finally we will transfer everything we have learned to write our own chronological report about tsunamis.
