The Year 4 boys took part in the annual competition at St George's, and although they didn't progress to the final stages of the competition, they acquitted themselves really well, the host school remarked on how well behaved and polite they were- which means just as much to us as a win! • Traffic calming measures

    Fri 21 Apr 2023

'Advance notice of parking restrictions from June 5th :

In a bid to try and keep our children as safe as possible outside of the school gates, the Local Authority and Road Safety team are working with us to trial a new traffic calming system between the hours of 8.15-8.45 and 2.45-3.15 every day that may alleviate too much traffic outside the gates and also stop some parents parking in a discourteous/unsafe manner. The new trial will come into force on June 5th .In essence, it means that access to Fairfield and those roads will be prohibited during those hours. Barriers will be in place to enforce this, so do start to plan where you will park if this is an area you normally use to drop off/pick up.'

  • Chesil Partnership Christmas Read-a-long

Fri 23 Dec 2022 Miss Simmonds

For the second year running, 3WS have taken part in the annual Chesil Partnership Christmas Read-a-long. The project aims to promote the love of reading and  bring the joy of Christmas to older residents in our community.

3WS all shared what Christmas meant to them and then turned this into a poem.

The children did a fantastic job and their words truly encapsulate the spirit of Christmas.

Well done 3WS, a fantastic reading.
