• Yr 5 Poetry

  Our Year 5 children did us proud this week by taking part in a performance to showcase how best to deliver a poem. Although understandably nervous, the children really did well and, again, their behaviour was excellent. Thanks to all the Yr 5 staff for preparing them and taking them to the pavilion.

• Keeping safe at the beach

  We were lucky enough to have the lifeguards in this week to talk to the children about how we keep ourselves safe at the beach, and in particular in the water. Living in a coastal town as we do, it is vitally important that children understand this.

• Football fever

  Our  Yr 5 and 6's competed in the Nash Cup this week, the boys reached the semi final stage, the girls, although not winning, enjoyed themselves enormously . Everyone behaved impeccably, thanks to Mr Broom and Mrs King for taking the teams.
