Extended Curriculum

Our Extended Curriculum for Autumn

Our main focus this term is on English and Maths to ensure our students maintain their potential outcome pre-lockdown.  With that in mind, as a school, we have adopted a truly cross-curricular approach so that our students can still access and enjoy the wider curriculum.

Year 4 will be looking to continue our journey Through the Ages, with a focus on the Romans.  Our first text, Escape from Pompeii, is a great source, with many links to the various subject areas.  We have set time aside for our students to work on a variety of hands-on projects to whet their appetite for knowledge.

Please find below how we intend to dovetail a rich range of experiences into your children's lessons.
